Parmesan Peas

Easy Peas-y!

Shaved Parmesan and peas make for a flavorful and vitamin-rich side dish.



1 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted (may substitute Olive Oil)
1 Small Shallot, Sliced
1 tsp Kosher Salt
14 oz Green Peas, Frozen, Thawed
1/4 cup Parmesan, Shaved
1 tsp Black Pepper


  1. Melt butter in medium skillet over medium heat. Add shallots and salt. Cook shallots until soft and translucent (about 4 minutes).
  2. Stir in green peas and cook until the peas are soft and bright green (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Remove pan from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese and black pepper. Serve immediately.
