Cherry Almond Pecan Granola

Ingredients:


1/2 cup Raw Almonds
1/2 cup Pecan Halves
1 ½ cup Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon 
½ tsp Vanilla Extract 
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Coconut Oil
1/2 cup Dried Cherries


Directions:


  1. Preheat oven to 300˚ F
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Add almonds and walnuts to a food processor, and process to desired consistency.
  4. Place oats and nut mixture in a large mixing bowl.
  5. Stir in sunflower seeds, sea salt and cinnamon.
  6. Separately in a small mixing bowl, stir together maple syrup and coconut oil.
  7. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined.
  8. Spread onto prepared cookie sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring every ten minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle dried cherries on top of hot granola and press in with a wooden spoon.
  10. Allow granola to cool, undisturbed. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
